About
Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Michelle Sexton
A patient centered, integrative, and functional approach to wellness!
Dr. Sexton is both a physician and scientist. This means that she has extensive clinical experience, and been engaged in basic science, and clinical research. She is Assistant Adjunct Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at the University of California, San Diego.
In clinical practice, she specializes in body/mind healing. The body and mind are inextricably connected, and cannot be separated when treating illness. This healing process is facilitated by balancing the evidence base of research with unearthing the root cause of disease.
Dr. Sexton has been helping her patients fine-tune their endocannabinoid systems since 2008. Her approach is backed by six years of formally studying cannabinoid pharmacology. She was a post doctoral fellow at the University of Washington, after completing her Naturopathic Doctoral degree from Bastyr University in Seattle.
